| 2003 Pingyao
International Photography Show |
Approved by the Ministry of Culture, the 2003 Pingyao
International Photography Show（PIP）would be sponsored
by Chinese Photographers Society, China Artistic
Photography Society, Shanxi International Culture
Exchange Association and Cultural Department of
Shanxi Province; it would be organized by Shanxi
Information Office, Jinzhong Municipal Government
and Pingyao County Government; and it would be assisted
by The People’s Photography, and Beijing-based Wit
Sendi Consultancy Co., Ltd. The PIP would be held
in Pingyao on September 16-22, 2003.
On the basis of successful experiences in the last
two festivals, as well as according to requirements
of the Organizing Committee and suggestions of experts
at home and abroad, the PIP would further improve
in the organization, operation, exhibition, design,
art genre, activities, photo trading, and famous-brand
consciousness. The PIP would be a grand meeting
with internationalism, nationality, and international
level; it would push the Chinese photographic art
to the world photographic art.
